  • If you plan to shift your residence, please inform Sales Section in your region. Incase if you are shifted to any of the locations where the cable network of Clear TV’s local Partner/Provider in your region is already available, then you can use the same STB by informing the concerned local partner to activate the STB.

Do you have a double audio feed for some channels (different languages)?

  • Clear TV STB has a dedicated feature to choose language and subtitle options, which can be accessed by pressing the Green button on the Clear TV Remote. This feature will be applicable only to channels providing multiple language and subtitle feature.

Does the storm, rain or weather affect my Clear TV STB and viewing through STB?

  • Clear TV signal (Radio Frequency) reaches the STB placed at user’s end through coaxial copper cable, therefore the weather vagaries have no impact on the viewing experience as no satellite signals are involved.

How are the digital channels different from analogue channels?

  • Analogue channels are prone to fading, snow, and ghosts whereas Digital TV reproduces crystal-clear picture and sound without fading or interference. A digital format provides better picture quality & sound and other benefits leading to a better quality service. The DTV transition is happening because digital is a better television experience - better picture and better sound.

What is the difference between Digital channels and the High Definition channels?

  • The key difference for the viewer between High Definition (HD) channels and normal digital channels is the picture quality. Simply because high definition broadcasts look much better. HD digital channel gives clear, sharp pictures with vivid colors and gives up to five times more details than normal digital channels.

  • The only requirement to have the Clear TV installed is the Set-Top-Box which you need to connect with the cable connection from any of Clear TV’s local service partner/provider.

What is the guarantee/ warranty period for Set-Top Box (STB), Remote control and power cable?

  • Clear TV’s STB carries six months Warranty from date of activation and both the remote and power cable carries 3 months warranty.

Who will provide support service to my STB?

What happens to my analogue channels that I am currently getting with Subisu’s cable Internet service when I subscribe to Clear TV?

  • The analogue channel can also be watched with the help of digital STB. The STB does contain RF Output beside RF Input from where we can connect the RF to the television and watch it.

When I turn on my Set-Top-Box, it shows - Access denied.

I would like to temporarily disconnect my subscription.

What do I do if only the blank screen appears for some of the channels?

  • This means that the update has not been fully completed. Follow the below mentioned process to complete the Update/Search.
  • Press Menu on Set-Top-Box remote and scroll to Search icon and press it
  • Press NIT Search
  • A page showing Signal Quality and Signal Strength will appear, Press Search button shown at the bottom
  • Your update/Search will take place

What do I need to do if I see a sign that is very alike to arrow based 360 Degree at the bottom left on the channel detail?

  • This means that there is a new version of firmware available for the STB.
  • Please reboot the STB to update it with the latest firmware available.

What do I do if I see a sign that denotes at the bottom left on the channel detail?

  • This means that the new channels have been added. Please follow the process mentioned below to activate newly added channels.
  • Please reboot the STB to update the STB with newly added channels.
  • After reboot, you will see the channel updating process on the TV screen with the dialogue saying “Updating Channel List”
  • The process goes from 0% to 100% to get the STB updated with newly added channels. After completion, you can use the STB normally.

I am not getting all the channels that I have subscribed to. Some channels are missing.

  • To have all the channels that you have subscribed to, please follow the below mentioned process.
  • Press Menu on Set-Top-Box remote and scroll to Search icon and press it
  • Press NIT Search
  • A page showing Signal Quality and Signal Strength will appear, Press Search button shown at the bottom
  • Your channel list will show all the channels that you had subscribed to.

Search button is not showing up on the menu.

  • Please turn off/on the Set-Top-Box and make sure that the TV cable is properly connected to the STB.

I see scratches and the pictures freezes at times (Pixilate). What could be the issue?

  • It could probably be due to the poor signal issue. Please contact our support team to have it checked.
  • It could also happen due to an in-compatible AC adapter of the STB. Please make sure that you are using the original adapter for the STB which was used during first installation. If there is an issue with your original adapter, please consider replacing the adapter with the new one. For further information please contact Technical Support at 01 4235888 or 9801235888.

My remote is not functioning. Who will repair it??

  • Remote will be replaced at a very nominal charge after the warranty period. Please contact Clear TV’s local partner from where you have availed the service.

What do I do if certain regular channels are not accessible?

  • It is possible, sometimes, due to poor signal quality or NO signal. In such case, please call the concerned customer care centre to rectify the problem.

How can I have my favorite channels listed on the favorite feature?

  • This feature is available on the top right of the home screen. With this feature, you can directly select the channels and keep it in your favorite list.
  • To select the channels and have them on the Favorite list, please go to channel list on the home screen and select the channels by pressing the yellow button on the remote. By doing this, the channels that you have selected will be placed on the favorite list. Now you can go to the home screen and select the channel you want to watch by directly going to the favorite feature and by selecting the desired channel.
  • Also, you can directly go to your favorite channel list by pressing the “FAV” button on the remote.
